Growing up in Argentina, Laurentino was introduced to the chef’s table at a young age. His
father grew up in a small town in Argentina where he had dreams of moving to a bigger city and
starting his own restaurant. His father and mother married and moved to La Plata, Argentina
where he opened his first business.
Laurentino would watch his father reinvent recipes, and craft new ideas on the cutting board. As
time went on, he partnered with his father on a new business venture: a bakery in downtown La
Plata. There he became an apprentice to his father and learned the in’s and out’s of the business.
Later, Laurentino met and fell in love with his soon to be wife who was from Minnesota. After
relocating to MN, his goal was to continue the family legacy. With support from his family and
friends, he was able to actualize his goal in creating and starting his own business in a new
region of the world.
